India Launches ‘Digital Village’ Scheme to Boost Rural Connectivity

The Indian government unveiled the ‘Digital Village’ initiative today, aiming to provide high-speed internet and digital services to over 10,000 rural villages by 2028. Announced by the Ministry of Electronics and IT, the scheme focuses on enhancing education, healthcare, and e-governance access in underserved areas.
