Indian Fintech Startup PaySwift Secures $150 Million Series C Funding

PaySwift, an Indian fintech startup specializing in digital payments and lending solutions, announced today that it has raised $150 million in a Series C funding round led by Sequoia Capital India. The funding will be used to expand PaySwift’s product offerings and scale operations across Tier 2 and 3 cities. Since its inception in 2020, PaySwift has onboarded over 10 million users and processed transactions worth $2 billion. According to Bloomberg, this latest investment values the company at $1.2 billion, officially making PaySwift a unicorn. The startup aims to bridge financial inclusion gaps in India’s underserved markets.
