Massive Drug Bust in Mexico Seizes 2 Tons of Fentanyl in Border Raid

Mexican authorities intercepted a shipment of 2 tons of fentanyl and other narcotics near the US border in a major anti-smuggling operation on March 12. The drugs, valued at over $150 million, were hidden in a cargo truck stopped in Nuevo Laredo. Officials arrested five suspects linked to a cartel network, according to statements from Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office.
